Passover Coloring Pages

Passover is a Jewish holiday that celebrates the freedom from slavery in Egypt. 3000 years ago, Egyptians held Israelites as slaves. God didn’t want this, so he sent 10 plagues to Egypt, one of which killed firstborn children. God told Moses to instruct the Israelites to cover their doors in lambs blood to show the angel that Jewish people live here, and so it would pass over the house and spare the children. After 200 years as slaves, Moses led the Jewish people to freedom. Today, Passover is celebrated for 7 to 80 days. The celebration includes food, songs, stories of passover, and religious rituals.
