The Last Supper in the bible is the last meal Jesus ate with his apostles in Jerusalem before he was crucified. It was a profound meal as he said to his disciples.  ‘I have eagerly desired to eat this Passover with you before I suffer. For I tell you, I will not eat it again until it finds fulfillment in the kingdom of God’ (Luke 22:15).  As he shared his meal he also spoke so that his disciples would understand the body and the blood of Christ. The Bible says that when Jesus shared the bread, he gave some to each of them and said, “This is my body given for you; do this in remembrance of me” (Luke 22:19b).
