Earth is a beautiful place to live. With all of its beauty, majesty and it’s many incredible natural wonders, we work to keep it healthy and gorgeous… for the earth and for us. Earth Day is April 22nd. It has become the world’s largest environmental movement! And it all starts with awareness. What do we humans do that is good and bad for Mother Earth? Earth Day helps us remember to practice being good humans and love our earth. The first Earth Day was observed on April 22, 1970. 20 million Americans were called to action to kick off the ‘modern environmental movement’. Twenty years later, in the ’90s, Earth Day spread around the world, including 200 million people from 141 countries, who care about making a real change in our environment. Looking to the future, 2020 celebrates the 50th anniversary of Earth Day. Let’s see how just far we have come. We have many free Earth Day coloring pages to print and color with your family. Help educate the children about what they can do to help our environment and save our way of life. Let’s work together to make it a place to call home.
